AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING

Automated decision-making takes place when an electronic system uses personal information to make a decision without human intervention. We do not envisage that any decisions will be taken about you using automated means, however we will notify you in writing if this position changes.

HOW LONG WILL WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION FOR?

We will only retain your personal information for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

To determine the appropriate retention period for personal information, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal information, the purposes for which we process your personal information and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.

SelectScience is for professionals and not intended for use by children. The safety of children is very important to us and so children (under 16 years) should always ask parents for permission before sending personal information to SelectScience, or anyone online.

There are links to other sites from SelectScience pages that take you to services beyond our control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites.
